A group of elementary students from Arlington, VA are in for a real treat, as they will be sending a satellite into space! The satellite was developed at Cal Poly and Stanford and it is called the CubeSat. This project will take about a year and will involve a host of students to participate in different activities.

The CubeSat is quite small being about 4 inches by 4 inches. NASA is helping out with this project and will be bringing in a mobilized clean room for the students to use to ensure the CubeSat is built to specifications. NASA will also be providing the school an antennae which will receive the temperature reading and pictures from the CubeSat.

We at Allied Cleanrooms would like to congratulate the efforts of the hard working students at St. Thomas More Cathedral School!
