Expedition 39/40 recently had a successful docking with the International Space Station. This new mission had astronauts from NASA, ESA, and the Russian Space program.
So what is mission 39/40 all about? This mission will continue to study the many affects space has on the human body. The lack of gravity causes muscles to wither away and the body to lose calcium. Furthermore, space also affects vision (typically making it worse), and ongoing medical studies aboard the ISS will help future astronauts and provide valuable research
